Due to the pouring of concrete during construction of the new Lindley Center for STEM Education Project, work will begin at 4 AM on three days in April: Wednesday, April 6 (which you were previously notified about); Thursday, April 14; and Friday, April 15.
We thank you for your continuing patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience these early start construction days might cause. While the process of pumping and pouring concrete is not inherently loud, there will be some noise as the concrete trucks back up to enter the project site. However, the concrete delivery is taking place off the street and behind the construction site.
The new 100,000-square-foot building will replace the college’s existing science and math buildings with a modern state-of-the art science facility, thanks to Sonoma County voters.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Project Manager Rhonda Ross: rross@santarosa.edu and Project Engineer Daniel Mendez-Cisneros: dmendezcisneros@santarosa.edu.
Thank you again for your continued support of the college district, students, faculty and staff.
