Amy Haedt, Project Manager (JGM, Inc.), has extensive project management and estimating experience in commercial and public works construction, including a total renovation of an Oakland Unified School District high school campus, the Bart Connector, hospital projects for Kaiser Permanente Oakland, San Leandro, and Santa Rosa, hotel projects, and numerous Napa winery projects. She studied business management at Oshkosh State University. She moved from her native Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to California, in order to join her older brother's contractor business based in San Francisco. Amy earned a General Contractors License from the State of California, her Realtors license, and a Construction Management Certificate from Sonoma State University. She joined the SRJC Capital Projects Department in 2019. Some of the projects she managed include the District-wide Security Upgrades Project, the SRJC Foundation new building, the Baker Hall labs renovation, upgrades to the Bertolini Student Center, and the Multicultural Center renovation. She currently manages the Roseland Modernization Project and the Emeritus Reroof and HVAC Project. Amy is able to provide value engineering to her projects, as needed, while engaging with all in a thoughtful manner, making her a valued member of the Capital Projects team.
