Dan Exelby, IT Infrastructure Project Manager (JGM, Inc.), has a long relationship with SRJC. In the early 2000s, he taught Cisco Networking Academy courses at the SRJC Petaluma Tech Center as an adjunct instructor. After 25 years working in K-12 educational technology, Dan joined SRJC in 2015 as the IT Infrastructure and Networking Manager. After Dan officially retired in 2021, he joined the Capital Projects Team where he continues to address the college’s infrastructure needs by developing IT standards designed to enhance and improve teaching and learning. Dan’s experience includes work for K-12 school districts in Santa Rosa, Windsor, Cotati/Rohnert Park, and at the Sonoma County Office of Education where he managed the Sonoma County Schools Connect Consortium, a wide area network serving over 70,000 students at over 100 schools and 40 districts. The Capital Projects Team is happy Dan continues to provide his expertise for the benefit of the SRJC community.
