Heather Chierici, Project Manager, has twenty-three years’ experience in California school construction. Before joining SRJC’s Capital Projects Department in 2017, Heather worked for a public works general contractor, specializing in school construction. Her projects included remodeling UC Berkeley’s archeological research facility, constructing new elementary school campuses in the East Bay and seismically renovating and updating one of San Francisco Unified School District’s high school campuses. She has also constructed LEED Gold and Silver certified projects, including the build out of laboratories at the Buck Institute. Heather is a Design-Build Institute of America associate. She led SRJC’s first two design-build projects, helping to develop the design-build contract and process that the college currently uses. Project Manager for the Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance Project, she also led the CEQA process for SRJC’s Lindley Center for STEM. Heather’s expertise in planning, scheduling and budgeting, and her collaborative nature is invaluable. She has called Santa Rosa home for twenty years.
