Ron Stewart,  Project Manager, is a hands-on construction management professional with over 30 years of experience in management, supervision and estimating. Ron’s projects have included commercial, multi-family, hospitality, education, skilled nursing, assisted living, public works, and wine production facilities. Most recently, his focus has been large-scale elementary, secondary, and college projects, including a three-story LEED Gold Fine Arts project with living roof for College of Marin. Among the big projects Ron has managed for SRJC is the nearly finished Petaluma Construction Training Center, along with other smaller projects that have been completed recently such as the Petaluma Outdoor Fitness Court and the Petaluma Outdoor AV Screen. Ron is a US Army Vietnam War era veteran. One of Ron’s hobbies is raptor handling as a volunteer at the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County where he has befriended a barred owl, his good friend Marsh.
